I want to learn higher level math. This has been a desire for a long time but I have been putting it off for quite some time because I was intimidated. I went to college but chickened out and took things like “business math” instead of calculus and so I have never found out if I’m even capable of doing some of the more rigorous mathematics out there. Let’s find out!

In doing some research I have determined that I need to go back to some more basic concepts since it has been more than 10 years since I graduated college. It has been even longer since I was taking actual math courses. I played around with some videos/courses in pre-calculus and trig and determined I need to go back to at least Algebra 2 to refresh my memory.

I have settled on Khan Academy’s Algebra 2 course since it seems like a good overview with lots of practice problems/tests. I will use this blog platform to document some notes and try to use the Feynman method of teaching to learn beginning in post 2.
