Waking Up
This is a fairly typical day in my household…
Also, I’m trying again to get back on schedule.

Also, I’m trying again to get back on schedule.
Working on 3 comics right now that I’ll likely just upload at the same time to catch up for the week shouldn’t be too much longer before I’m back on track for dailys…
Edit: Working on multiple comics at once impedes progress on all…lesson learned, more to come.

Trying to get back on track this month, sorry for missing most of last month. I had a lot of extra days working and that’s calmed down for the most part, so I’ll be spending more time sitting at home in front of the ‘ol laptop this month. For better or worse, the comics are coming, and I thank everyone that’s stuck with me through the downtime :D
Not really much else going on around here, I’ve been playing a ton of Street Fighter 4 on the PS3 which makes me happy. I’m looking forward to meeting a couple of Japanese clothing designers that I’m a big fan of next month, hopefully I can get a photo with them (my heart’s aflutter).
Anyway, thanks againĀ guys.

I’ve returned from Sapporo today, so I’m getting back to work here. I’m backdating comics so that I can work through the weekend as well to catch up a little for the days I’ve missed.
Hokkaido was quite nice (and COLD), I had a lot of fun there and hopefully made some new friends which I’m also pleased with. Subsequently I’ve been editing photos all day to throw onto Flickr. I always end up taking too many pictures and hating all the Photoshop time after trips, oh wells, at least I got it all done. The picture above is a snowman building area where everyone got to make snowmen using bowls and a strange procedure so that all of the snowmen would come out a uniform size and shape…leave it to the Japanese.

The photo above is a cake that I ate in the maid cafe that the comics are currently taking place in. The food in that place is great, and the maids…also nice. I think it’s a different sort of place than the ones in Akihabara that you hear about, the food is all hand made, and the atmosphere is a lot more like a proper coffee shop or tea house. It’s a maid cafe still, but not over the top. I enjoy it.
Update on the update, we’re heading out to Sapporo in about an hour, thought I should say there won’t be comics running again until Wednesday (Tuesday on the stateside). Very unprofessional and disappointing I know. Terribly sorry for that, but I’ll try to pull double duty when we get back so I can catch up (I’m always saying that ><)

Saw this outside of a music shop here in Sendai, I guess the soul music sales were slow? At least this proves to me that Americans trying to profit after 9/11 with the American ‘pride’ merchandise aren’t the only capitalists in the world.
And on with the weblog, I haven’t said a whole lot here lately, but there’s not much really going on. Seems everyone’s coming down with the flu, including my English students which is not nice to my wallet. I’ve been filling the work void with quite a lot of video games including Little Big Planet and Soul Calibur 4 (if you’re on PSN I challenge you to face stabbing). I had planned some kind of comedic rambling to go in here somewhere but I forgot what I had scripted, everyone suffers. Working on some extra artwork for the site. Still drawing comics and things, and overall feeling pretty good. You can let me know in the comments section if I should not be feeling this way, and if Obama has fixed America yet. I heard we’re all getting a puppy as economic stimulus with our tax returns, dog food industry needed a bailout. Off the cuff comedy is…failure.
